I think comfortably numb solo is overrated. Best David Gilmour solo imo is "Time" from Dark Side.

Really don't like Eruption. Eddie just tries to play as many notes as possible as fast as he can. Real solos are like comfortably numb, stairway to heaven, Like a hurricane, sweet child o' mine, highway star, Alive, and some Hendrix songs
