But I never said that. The closest I said to that was that he has a better range than Tate and ****inson. And I'm pretty sure that's correct.

Just looked it up buddy, it's Georgia Brown. Adam holds it for a male, correct.
Yea, well, that's not skill THAT much (about the emotion thing). You just have to know how to not be 1 dimensional with your voice.

I have heard of Georgia Brown, I'm not sure if I saw it in Guinness, but she isn't on their site I don't think. Anyway, the pure fact that she hits a note outside of 20khz isn't even of musical value. Adam Lopez's range is over 7 octaves and it's all within what's considered of musical value.

The choir I was in was known for great emotion, and we didn't even try that hard after analyzation.

and no, Adam Lopez owns the world record. Go to the guinness site and look up "highest vocal note" (I can't post URLs yet I guess).

It says "by a male," but it's actually by human being.
Heres teh link.

Adam doesn't have a range over 7 octaves just because he can hit that one extreme high note :P

The record for males is 6 octaves.

And I think the highest note is G10 which is out of human hearing range, but otherwise it's of "musical value" I believe.

Actually he does. he sent me a clip of him hitting a note in the 1st octave. Everything has to be verified by guinness to get in the book. Just because it's not in the book, doesn't mean it's true. All it means is that it hasn't been verified by them yet. And last I checked, Lopez is trying to get himself in there for the 2007 edition.

And anything above 20 khz is not of musical value. That is why the algorithm to convert audio to MP3s cuts off any signals above this frequency.

I tried looking that up, couldnt find it, so chances are you are full of crap...Still, Hendrix is right.

For example, i could very well have the biggest penis in the world, but because i havent reported it to guinness yet dosent make it less true.

mm, I just said what the current "record" was. Of course there could be some nut out there that's better than them all but we just don't know about it :P
