I saw RATT open for Cinderella in 2006 or something. Unfortunately, I don't remember if any of the original members were even still in the band. Maybe Blotzer. I know Pearcy wasn't there, and that right there basically means I saw a cover band.

It was John Corabi on guitar and Ji z z y Pearl on vocals. That is an awful name.

I didn't know they were nominated for a Grammy. I'm reading Pearcy's book now.

That intro at :30 and Guitar solo at 2:50 are money. Warren DiMartini was a beast.

It isn't like Ratt had bad music, in fact I listened to Out Of The Cellar when I was a kid a lot. I loved the riffs the band had, catchy, and super tight playing. They had other songs from other albums before the original line up dissolved that I liked, but...yeah.

They really have a Grammy nomination? That is a bit hilarious. I never thought I'd see the day that Ratt would be in the same sentence as Grammy, not in this day and age.

People actually like Ratt? Jesus, I guess I'll quit making fun of my dad so much for it.

Well it's kind of hard to do air guitar to "4'33".

I think it's funny that a surprising number of music elitists seem to rate select hair bands over a lot of grunge.

I'm probably less inclined to think of it as pointless. I'm just not a fan of cheesy music. I like stuff like this:
