Theatrical in nature these guys put on a hell of a live show. Influenced by King Crimson and Primus they make some interesting music. To me this song is considered a "masterpiece".

Great choice.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I don't listen to too many bands who go beyond the five minute mark often (except for Tool) so these are the ones that stand out:

I think what makes a good five minute plus song is when it is based around a nice, simple riff and gets slowly expanded and built up and jammed. I think that's a quality you find in most of these songs...

I can't believe nobody has said Arriving Somewhere But Not Here by Porcupine Tree.

I would much prefer 10+ minute songs. It limits the choices and means that you have to look harder for choices and actually listen to the damn things.

On that note, Anesthetize and The Sky Moves Sideways aren't too shabby either.

Deep Purple's Child in Time, April, Burn and Lazy are all awesome.

I think Master of Puppets is excellent, as well.

the full song is actually 10:04, but I guess it had to be shaved down for youtube. Still, it's a very good song. The last three minutes are the best <3

A Don Caballero favourite.

My all-time favourite TMV song

Maserati's best song, IMO

Groovy.

Since almost all of my library is over five minutes, you should make it ten minutes instead.

Unfortunately, I can't post it yet, but definitely I'd vote for;

Genesis - Suppers Ready
Neil Young - Like a Hurricane
