I agree with you. SlayeReyalS, you have no idea what you're talking about. There are a LOT of good mainstream bands. Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, Hoobastank, Disturbed, Matchbox Twenty, U2, Lostprophets, Evanescence, all those bands are FAR BETTER than your stupid ass death metal crap.

The brain cells of SlayeReyalS evaporated a LONG time ago. All that death metal crap wiped out his brain. He should start listening to some REAL music for once.

Lemme just say, that Muse is incredible, most mainstream sux, yes... I fully agree, but anyone who doesn't give Muse credit is no friend of mine.

I laugh when people say mainstream. Rock and grunge IS mainstream nowdays. It gets sold in the same stores as pop, gets the same video airtime, gets the same radio airtime, and gets listened to by a larger majority than pop. Its not like you have to dig around the music underground scene to get your hands on the albums you own is it!

I hang around with the kid every day, it's just when extreme stupidity and/or petty cusses (see top of page) are displayed, it pisses him (and a lot of people, including me, off). in fact he is seldom like that, he's laid back and easy going and a pleasure to be with (mounts him kissing him passionately).

Tool are ok. Rage have had one good song; only problem is it was probably the birth of nu-metal which is pathetic, so i did vote for rage; but out of these bands, its not cos i'm a massive fan of them

Radiohead is a good band they would probbably be my second choice out of those bands, then it might have to be deftones but i dont know.

I said Tool but of couse it ws a hard choice with SOAD andAPC on the same list. In fact i like every band on the list ecept Deftones, i don't much care for them.

Can't make a judgement on tool or a perfect circle 'cause I haven't really heard em.
Radiohead, Deftones, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down & Nine Inch Nails are all good bands. And yes, just 'cause no one seems to like 'em, I love deftones
