I am going to have to go with radiohead...but it runs close to Nine Inch Nails.

/\ The same could very easily be said of Radiohead as well.

Also - I can almost understand why some people would pick NIN, Tool, or RATM over Radiohead… But unless you've neglected to hear the entire catalogue of Radiohead's albums, I see know logical explanation for picking SOAD over them.

Radiohead without question. No contest. No brainer. Piece of cake. Child's play. No sweat. Plain sailing.

Um, from the looks of it, this is a modern band poll. Personally, I think RHCP takes the cake for best modern rock band, but my post above shows I voted RATM.

RATM were good, but their sound never evolved… You can listen to their 1st S/T album, and then put in Battle for Los Angeles, and most people wouldn't know where the first one ended, and the last began.

Radiohead have taken it upon themselves, on each album they've released, to produce a sound and feel that is unique and innovative. I just can't say the same of RATM.

Out of those choices, Radiohead.

Everything except Deftones on that list I listen to on a regular basis. Pound for pound I'd go with Tool though for overall impact. Radiohead I'd go with if I wanted to immerse myself in a certain kind of mood, system of a Down if I wanted something loud and melodic, or R.A.T.M. if I wanted to think about social injustice while headbanging.

Out of that shambolic list, I'd have to go for Radiohead as they're painfully average.
