Yet another reason not to check out any new material from Megadeth. Honestly I think all of the big four should have ended 10 to 20 years ago.

No. Here's the deal. Slayer is still Thrash. That is a fact. Megadeth hasn't had a good album since TWNAH and Metallica died when Cliff did. Sad but true (no pun intended).

All of the Metallica fan boys that voted shouldn't be in this thread. Fun fact - METALLICA ISNT THRASH.

That is all.

Oh, I’m sorry, please continue about how Metallica isn’t a thrash band.

**** it's 1988? I thought it was 2015.

Also that album has no bass. If you are going to cherry pick metallica albums for thrash NOT the one I would have chosen.

Ohhhhh! Is this NEW SLAYER?

What's Metallica doing?

Taking notes probably.

It doesn't matter what the artists are doing today. Having ****ty albums in one's discography doesn't invalidate all of the brilliant ones.

What the hell are you talking about? You made a generic statement that Metallica isn’t a thrash band. You didn’t specifiy what time period you were talking about.

.

And I don’t remember audible bass on every album being a requisite of whether or not a band is considered thrash metal.
