This thread proves what I already knew to be true. Anthrax has no business being grouped with other three of the big four.

The main problem is just how eighties they sound. To someone who was living in a world where Motley Crue isn't considered a joke by a large portion of the population, wouldn't Anthrax seem like a godsend?

I guess I could agree with that. But early Motley Crue is good cheesy metal.

I could never listen to Motley Crue for recreation. Anthrax is much better than them, but I would say Anthrax is the weakest of the big four because of their lack of consistency.
