Talking Hulk Hogan Auditioned For Metallica

I had read this from somewhere else:

Quote:
Former professional wrestler and full-time overprotective dad Hulk Hogan auditioned to play bass for both Metallica and the Rolling Stones during the 1980s, according to his forthcoming autobiography My Life Outside the Ring.

Speaking to the Chicago Tribune, Hogan said: “I was in England presenting an award with Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger’s ex, and she told me the [Rolling] Stones were looking for a bass player. I sent her a ton of merchandise that she asked for and said ‘Tell Mick I’m a great bass player.’ I never heard a word back."

He went on: “When Metallica was looking for a bass player, I called and never heard a word back from them either. I would have quit wrestling in a heartbeat to be a bass player for Metallica.”

Hogan made a living as a journeyman bass player while in college, and continued to attempt to make it as a musician during his early wrestling days. His daughter, Brooke, is now a successful solo artist with two albums to her name.
What Do You Think Would Have Happened If Metallica Hired Him?
