You were three years old when the 80s ended. Do you even remember anything from that decade?

If Hulk Hogan got the job as the Metallica bassist they would've been considered more of a joke than Dragonforce are now.

I was there in the early 90s. When I was a kid I was indeed a hulkamaniac. And I watched Mr Nanny and Surburban Commando god knows how many times. :o:

Heh, probably. You'd hear Master of Puppets as Hulk's theme song. (If he wrestled)

^ fair, but the early 90s Hogan pales in comparison to the mid 80s Hulkamania.

True but he was still pretty big in the early 90s. I think the only other wrestler who compared in popularity was Bret The Hitman.

I do know that he was huge in the 80s though, hell he had his own cartoon. HE HAD HIS OWN PASTA!!!

I know that Wrestlemania III once held the record for largest attendence for an indoor sporting event in North America, drawling over 90,000 people. Hulk vs Andre the Giant being the main event. I used to rent old WWF pay per view events on VHS and watch them all the time.

If he had become a musician with Metallica, then he never would have released his album with The Wrestling Boot Band.

The world would have missed out.
