I always find it funny how you like a song, then radio ruins it. Even though it's a good song and it's much better than hearing moronic crap all day.

I think I've seen it before actually.. I just thought it was taken after the Brit Pop thing was over and they were making light of it. Didn't realise it was actually serious. Great picture

Don't hold me to my word on that story - that's just what I've heard/read somewhere, at some point... I may have even dreamed it. Who knows? I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it though. I think.

Let's just say it's true. Because if it's not it'll be a huge disappointment.

Snow Patrol-Chasing Cars
This won the best song of the 00's on C4. It also makes me physically sick.

Really??? What was the reasoning?

I think Snow Patrol are a little like Coldplay for me - they're on the radio all the time, but I'd never be able to actually give the name of the song being played.

I was to busy gagging to pay attention to the reasoning.

Not really a rock song, but James reminded me of this in another thread.

Common People - Pulp.

Although I sang it on karaoke a couple of years back. The only one I knew all the words to.

Pulp are too cheesy. I think that's my problem with them.

"I took her to a supermarket, I don't know why but I had to start it somewhere. So it started..... there."

I don't actually dislike Common People as a song, it's good fun. The first few times you hear it..

That's one of the appeals of Different Class, This Is Hardcore(best IMO) isn't really cheesy.
