Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost are one of my favourite Gothic Metal bands. I didn't see any thread about them so I thought I'd start one up for anyone to discuss or discover this band. They are pretty much the Godfathers of Gothic Metal and have undergone quite a number of changes to their sound throughout the years. A lot of their fanbase were turned off them when they started to use a more electronic mainstream sound, like most hardcore fans of underground bands do. However I don't really think they have ever forgotten their dark gothic roots, as evidenced in their newest album Faith Divides Us - Pain Unities Us which could be their darkest release to date.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this band and enjoy talking about as much as I do.

Eh now I am off-topic but I can't help - maybe now I can make some thread about Marillion?

Good to know we have sooo similar music taste and so many bands in common

I'm glad we do too. Hope you like what you heard here. You should definitely make a thread on Marillion, I haven't seen one here before.

From these two albums that I listened (One Second, Draconian Times) I think I like what I hear. But Draconian Times seems to be more fun than the other one.
