Then again censorship is retarded on the radio... I mean one guy cant say the S word but The Ying Yang twins can skeet skeet everywhere :P This pisses me off.... that you blame pot. Thats one of the reasons why it has a hard time be accepted by everyone because people blame their dumb ideas on it. |

Spot on. That'd be like a 30 year old man blaming his car wreck on account of the sugery-cereal he had for breakfast. |

so... is the issue actually censorship or the fact that some people are ending up with edited albums?
releasing a clean vs. uncut album is NOT censorship. it's marketing. there's a difference. if real censorship was actually happening there would be no alternate versions. also, lame on the pot excuse. either learn how to handle your smoke or don't puff. weed doesn't make you stupid, it makes being bored not suck. |

So I guess there's no such thing as white rappers, or black rock/metal musicians then.

I never said it was a good thread. I just find that comment absurd. I love it when people throw out the race card just because someone either doesn't like or criticizes rap music.

you might also want to try reading an understanding the full comment before trolling next time too. i said they were bordering on racism with their initial comment. the door was still open to graciously remove their foot from their mouth, or they could use the youthful ignorance card by not remembering how close actual censorship came to happening in the late 80s. if they were only born in the 90s slack would be cut and knowledge would be dropped. do you actually have something worth reading to say about censorship in music or do you just want to keep arguing semantics? |
