How about Scorpions? What are you thinking about this band? Its my lovely...

I just mentioned them on another thread:) Their 70`s stuff through to the early 80`s are albums I love, but from there on its all downhill really.

I am not thinking about this band. Not at all. I'm thinking abut hamburgers.

.....and what hamburger chains do they have in Belgrade? A "Vic with cheese"?

Have you ever heard of Wendy? We used to have them maaaaaaaaany years ago in the UK and they were far superior to the rubbish that Mcdonalds and Burger King sell.

They are actually ranked in 46th spot on VH1`s greatest artists of hard rock and I`ve actually seen them live many years ago when I was still a fan of the band.

They were supposed to play a concert in Belgrade a few years ago, but I think it was canceled. My sister really wanted to go

Blackout has some top tunes- No One Like You and especially China White but I have never been a huge fan of the band. Animal Magnetism is usually said to be their best album but I just couldn't get on with it. I do like Savage Amusement from 1988 although it has a commercial sound.

This is one of the best Heavy Metal songs ever recorded and deserves a listen:

"Wind of Change" has been on my workout playlist for the last six or seven months. It actually has a good beat for casual rollerblading.

The Scorpions are great. I was at a concert in 2008. Those guys have been playing for 45 years and they still rock.

You`ve just read that on wikipedia!!! To be honest they should have split after "Love at First Sting" as its all been downhill since then.

Honestly? Probably the worst thing they have ever done. It actually makes me feel nauseous listening to it. Different strokes and all that I guess.

Winds Of Change is the song that put me off them for good.

I only really listen to the 70s Uli Roth albums these days.

I have a poster of Virgin Killer, yes I'm aware of the implications.

I didn't say it was good musically, just good for exercising. I like to listen to really cheesy, and upbeat songs when I work out. I even have the "Rocky theme" on my list and I know that's totally ridiculous.

I`ve never heard their version of it so will give it a listen to as I love the original. Klaus Meine has such a great voice anyway so it wouldn`t surprise me that he`d do a good job.

I saw Scorps in 1999 with the San Jose Symphony...very powerful show. I've seen them 5 times. One of my all time favorites
