You people are a bunch of cynical ****s. This is going to be mind blowing.

Amazing synchronicity with my entry. Pumped.

i have all the hope in the world that it will be mind blowing...just don't want to get set up for disappointment. there have been too many reunions that ended up a giant disaster

I really don't know what to think of this. The last time I saw Chris Cornell live (about 2 years ago), it just wasn't as epic as the oldschool Soundgarden days. I'm not sure if it'll be the same :/

I agree, I can't imagine how he can still sing at all anymore. I scream along to one song in my car and my throat hurts for like 3 days haha.

I'm sure they will find a way to work around it with recordings, though the live performances will probably suffer. The only thing is, and while I haven't listened to a full solo record of his so I post this with caution, it doesn't seem like those ar screaming type records.

Maybe he can bring it back for the tour, but then again, I'm an extreme optimist.

Yeha but I'd bet he was trying to not be soundgarden when he did that.

Soundgarden is pwn. I'm pumped.

Yeah true, he was doing solo stuff which I'm not really a fan of... he did play a couple of Soundgarden songs and when he did the crowd went pretty mental.

But like someone said, there have been so many reunions that have turned out to be disasters, so I guess I'm just not getting my hopes up. Will be awesome to see though if it works out. Fingers crossed!

Alright enough, everybody. Start listing the reunions you've seen and why they were ****.

I saw Jane's Addiction at Lollapalooza 2003 and they murdered a kid on stage they were so good.

Did you want Perry Ferral to come out and blow you?

first 4 tracks were amazing. The album as a whole was alright - the live show was awesome...

hahahahaha

i agree they were good tracks...but it just became your typical alt rock album. i just keep thinking about how original and how amazing nothing's shocking and ritual de lo habitual are. strays doesn't even compare...and after years of being broken up and the hype that was built up about it i just didn't find it to up to par.
