And for some reason, ONLY had a picture of Gerard Way.
I didn't find that weird until right now.
What happened to the rest of the band?
But Frank was on the cover, no? Swear I saw Frank on the cover.

Well, compared to what would be considered traditional punk, I guess what differentiates emo are the lyrics. But you have a really good point, the definition of emo seems a streatch sometimes.

If he was, then maybe I just imagined it was only Gerard.
OR MAYBE they're selling different volumes? Everybody gets their own magazine cover?
**** it, I'll just Google.

Edit! I was right. They all get their own.
I was just upset cause I was hoping they weren't starting to sell just Gerard and not the band as a whole.
I'm okay now. [=

Good point, let me rephrase.

I want most of my music to have balls, not tears.

I like balance. =]

What does it mean for music to "have balls" then?

No whining. Gritty and real. There are bands that hang on a thread to sounding emo because of a whining vocalist.

If anything, I'd have to consider MCR my most important group in my music experience. They got me really into music, and I'm still a giant fan and always will be. Been part of the MCRmy since early '08, actually.

My favorites are probably This Is The Best Day Ever, Fashion Statement, Hang 'Em High, and House of Wolves .

But I don't pick favorites in music, nor do I like to categorize my music taste or other bands in certain genres as well. I'm anything from Ska and Pop Punk all the way to Metalcore. But some bands, such as MCR, will always remain important to me. Anyone's "first band" that got them into the music scene would probably be important to them as well.

And quit bashing guys . Every group has their own controversies/criticism things that bring down their reputation. It's just music and there's no reason to bash someone. Everyone's style is unique .
