it will be strange to see what MCR comes out with. i am very afraid of being disappointed after watching the used release their terrible new album artwork with the absence of John Feldmann. It seems many of the bands that were creative towards the beginning of the decade have gotten to the point where their new stuff is turning to crap.
I was a really big fan of brought you my bullets and three cheers. and the black parade was alright. i really hope that they will come out with something out there instead of following up with half-assed material like everyone else seems to be doing these days. |

My old guitar teacher said that it was just groups that took their music more seriously, he would know, hey grew up in that scene.
Also, I find the definition for emo extremely vague, I mean The Van Pelt (sorry, I can't think of any other good examples at the moment) was frequently tagged as "emo" but, they were more of a post hardcore/indie kinda deal to me. Last edited by Farfisa; 12-31-2009 at 12:29 PM. |

While I found 3 Cheers... a little boring, I actually really enjoyed the Black Parade, looking forward to the next record. This band has alot of talent, I feel like people either hate on them because "it's cool", or that they haven't listened to anything other than the singles. I can see how not everyone would like them, but there are WAAAYY more annoying bands out there. BTW I was already in my 20's when they first came out.

Who knows?
But AP magazine featured them as one of the most anticipated albums. And for some reason, ONLY had a picture of Gerard Way. I didn't find that weird until right now. What happened to the rest of the band? |
