Fantastic documentary!

And as an aside, I thought he completely changed genres when I saw the cover for Fallen. Then I looked it up on YouTube, and felt like an idiot.

The same terrorist that Varg also denounced. I'm failing to see the terrorist plot.

France drops terror charges against Varg Vikerness | News.com.au

Again, far be it for me to side with Varg ****ing Vikerness, but the French police sound like the gestapo, ironically enough. Are there laws against the spouse of a convicted felon about buying firearms in France? Even if that's the case, this sounds like the most blatantly trumped of case of utter nonsense that I've ever heard. If this was America about fifty people would be getting fired over this.

Isn't Burzum the name of Varg's solo project?

Yes. It always has been (1992-present). And he was allowed to make and release music while he was in prison.

European metal fans have it tough in some ways. Every time I read about someone distro getting raided because some of the hundreds of items they have may contain legally objectionable lyrics, bands having to hire lawyers to screen lyrics before the album gets published, bizarre protests & threats of violence from far-left wing groups, customs confiscating items....

The PC Police are a bunch of bastards, essentially.

Got around to asking Varg about the lyrics to the song "Et hvit lys over skogen", his synth setup, and why "Stemmen Fra Taarnet" ends the way it does.

He's a real nice guy to people who contact him
