Default South African Rock Band "BLK JKS"

Wikipedia says the band name is pronounced Black Jacks, so maybe, maybe not.

I just found them in an old Rolling Stones Magazine if you can believe that. They are pretty awesome from what I am hearing. See what you think.

BLK JKS - Summertime

BLK JKS - Lakeside

A sick band, seen these guys around before. I got their 2009 album "Robots something or other" the other day but haven't seen it since. Gonna go scavenge for it now though.

If those two vids are anything to go by, they sound pretty awful. Maybe they're doing something spectacular in the studio, but I definitely wouldn't go see them live...:/

They have talent but they sound far too busy for their own good. The music lacks focus to me. Certainly not awful though.

They seem like theyre aiming for a laidback less serious approach but thats my opinion. It could be a lot worse I suppose.
