No, not really. All that stuff isn't emo. It's mostly pop-punk. Yellowcard, something corporate, that's emo. Dashboard even.

I don't think propaghandi is poppunk...yeah...not at all really. But i like all the bands on the above lists...good taste people.

yeah...but alkaline is DEFINITELY emo...btw- ive been a goldfinger fan since forever, dude i liked them back bfore they were punk and were all ska!

alkaline trio is emo...or not. Come on man. Sunny Day Real Estate (real emo) sounds nothing like Alkaline. I think we can agree that they kick serious ass though! Ever seen them live?

I don't think I've heard Alkaline before... do they have good stuff? And yeah I like goldfiner they're so awesome! Whats some good stuff by alkaline i can get?

The Alkaline Trio are possibly the best emotionally charged drunk ****ers to currently make music.
