These could also be considered alt punk, but alternative is hard category because its music is so broad.

Pop punk = Buzz****s - Singles Going Steady. I don't know what the deal is with the **** but it rhymes with ****ing sock.

You should never really be just a fan of one type of music, e.g. pop-punk. Listen to as many genres you want from indie to black metal. The wider your taste in music the better.
