Best Female Metal Singer

None of the above - Floor Jansen is the best period! However any female metal singer list should also include Simone Simons (Epica), Sharon Den Adel (Within Temptation) and Marcella Bovio (Stream Of Passion).

Wow, really? I went through every page of this thread and no Jex Thoth? She wins ten times over for me. Wendy O Williams is the **** too, although as said, would technically be more punkish.

Out of that list, the Lacuna Coil chick I guess. But it doesn't touch this.

None of the above for the poll. For me it's Dr. Mikannibal from the band Sigh for harsh vocals, and Ymer Mossige-Norheim who did guest vocal work for the band Manegarm for clean vocals.

I'm surprised Maria Brink (In This Moment) and Otep Shamaya (Otep) aren't on this list... I know it's an older thread but both of these bands were established before this threads creation.

I think Tarja has the strongest voice on the list, but I like the music of Lacuna Coil and Evanescence better.

I believe I voted for Tarja ages ago but I would put Sharon den Adel in my top 5.
