At least you`d know who Motley Crue were if you walked passed them or heard one of their songs. Interpol are just another faceless band that don`t stand out at all.

Nah its just you said at school yerself you hadnt heard anything by them, and those are just names you could have looked up on kazaa just to form a weak arguement, thats all.

Interpol mighnt stand out so much cause they hav a slightly dull sound, compared to motley crue, but if you listen or read their lyrics or watch their filmclips they sorts stick in your mind. but yeh in my opinion interpol is the better of the two, tommy lee is like one of those average arrogant bastards that u hear about all the time, nuthin new there.

first of all, you shouldnt think "motley crue", then immediately think "tommy lee." they'd be the same with or without him.
and interpol is distinct because of the lead singer's annoying voice.
