I don't know how's the situation where you live guys, but here in Balkan more than 80% of population listens to an atrocious genre of music called "turbo-folk" and/or "cajke". So to claim that I listen to KoRn cause it's advertised is ridiculous. Get over yourselves guys, this isn't the late 90s/early 2000s anymore, nu/alternative rock/metal isn't even close to being mainstream... |

Who knows what we might have in the next few years or so? I hope its something good with a certain amount of articulation returning. I have always been a fan of progressive rock with strong elements of Jazz through the years, so something that included those particular elements and form of expression in their music would be nice. ![]() |

By the way, I'd say nu metal and alternative rock is mainstream. If not, why would people care about Limp Bizkit reuniting, or Linkin Park releasing their 2012 album? And why would alternative rock bands Fun., Coldplay, Linkin Park, The Script and Imagine Dragons all be in Spotify's top 50 artists list?
