I don't know about Australia but over here a tool show sells out in about 5 minutes. I think I payed around 150 for a ticket last time.

If you're a Tool fan, you're used to lifetimes between albums, and the last thing you want them to do is rush an album for the sake of the fans.

Go watch tours. Be pleasantly surprised at an album.

Pretty much the way I am. I love the mystery of not knowing when they'll release something, then coming to find out that they released something a month or two ago without even noticing. Makes the wait more exciting.

$150 to see Tool. Damn. Good as they may be, and good as their shows may be.... $150 is highway robbery.

Maybe a little under but it was between 100-150. They were top dollar seats, too. Luckily, I didn't have to pay. Concerts are so expensive these days, especially when it's a big name.
