well i meant that at first i didn't like it, but now i love it. it's more of a jamming record than seperate songs, so it kind of takes some time to get into it

i've never seen them live but i get the impression they're very much a jam band on stage. either you get into their groove or you get out of the bar until they're done. the overall video footage quality may vary but whatever, the music still rocks. that first video is testament to this - recording a live band with the built in mic in your camcorder = BAD IDEA.

Ok well, I've been trying to give them some more attention recently so I've listened through 3 of their albums, Blast tyrant, From Beale street...and Jam Room. I like Blast tyrant the most and Profits of doom has been stuck in my head for the better part of the day but I haven't managed to maintain an interest throughout an entire album. The songs all just start to sound the same after a while...plus, I've noticed some repetitiveness...:\
Still, they're my new go-to band for work-out music....

yeah there is some overlap. i mean 'one eyed dollar' is on both jam room and beale st haha. i agree that they can sound a little repetitious but how many rock bands aren't? they're great to listen to when you're doing other stuff.

Yeah I have it, I'll give it a go. I'm not diggin the bluesier stuff though, I like them for the raw power and funky metal. :\
