Have LimpBizkit had their time?
Have LimpBizkit had their time? Well i remember a couple of year ago when if limpbizkit would have played a gig a brixton academy me and all my mates would have been there and it would have been sold out in no time. but no none of us give a sh#t. i foned up the box office to see if they had tickets and they said less than half have been sold. i think after dropping out of U.K's download festival alot of British Bizkit fanz turned on them because I know many people that bought a ticket based on limpbizkit being there. In the end metallica turned up so no-one really cared. but i think they have lost alot of their fan base. Anyone else?

I never liked them or had any respect for them. they just do the same thing over and over again, to me all their songs sound the same. I think its fitting that they're losing their fans, it shows that a band needs to have at least some originality and at least try to do something new once in a while.

I agree, I've never been a huge fan though, but then I think it's because I find the whole rap/rock thing they do questionable and uninteresting, plus I think Fred Durst needs his kneecaps busted, but that just me

I think some of their first songs were good, but then everything kind of went downhill from there. They began to take on the MTV audience and basically just play for them and that'll ruin any band given enough time.

I like the Significant Other CD, and songs like Faith, and the Rollin' one with all the rappers in it...actually i didnt mind Hotdog as an album either. Some of their new stuff isnt too bad, but some of its not too good.
So, I suppose you can say i still kinda like them. I made another thread on them a while back.

lol half of these people..or at least 80% don't even know "the Who"..I really love them..specially "Teenage wasteland"..gets me anytime! and Limp Bizkit didn't even do that angry part, like in the original song...and that makes it even worse! |
