i'v kind of been let down by the rock music options in my area, and sat. radio has gone down hill the last few years.

just wondering where you go to here your rock music? podcasts, fm, sat. radio, websites.

so you just pick at random then?

for the last few years i'v just took advise from a few friends that have similar taste as i. or i'v followed certain artists history and listened to the bands he/she have been invloved with.

it would be nice to have another source or two.

Not if you don't know where to look.

It took me a really long time to find new music through this site.

I never listen to the radio, satellite or otherwise, I am huge into podcasts but they're mostly lectures and interviews, not music, and most of the music information I get comes from friends, research, and here.

I never really got into podcasts.

I know someone at my school has one. But I never listened.

Mostly I'll just read articles and find related bands in the same genre, then maybe check them out on youtube, find stuff on here.
I actually keep a list on my computer of new bands whose music I should get, that is a big help, liek I said I'll listen to them on youtube and if I like it it goes on the list.
