Anyway, meh, everything you've said is fair. I'm still very excited about the band, though. These small clips sound good to me, but I'll reserve judgment until we can hear some full songs.
no worries, if you dig it you dig it, by all means do it up

that riff in the first clip IS super badass. but what really annoys me is that this is presented like a new band but just sounds like more of the same.

consider the way mike patton starts new bands, does fantomas sound like mr. bungle? while tomahawk and FNM have similarities they have just as many glaring differences and it's not like both groups were active at the same time.

nothing in any of those clips sounded so far removed as to make me think i was hearing anything besides new QOTSA material. that's what really bugs me about this whole endeavor. but that's just me, i'll freely admit to being hard headed hahaha

I saw them twice now and it really blew my mind. Yes it sounds a lot like Queens of the Stone Age but with more swing. Maybe it's nothing really new. But boy it is a great band and Grohl is just an amazing drummer. I'm really excited about them. Really looking forward to the album. Look for a song called "Gunman" on YouTube. Love that song to bits.

You're one lucky mofo, I want to see them so bad. They seem to have forgotten about California on their little tour. But I'm sure our time will come. Have you heard anything about a possible release date for an album?

Man, I am looking forward to this. I haven't decided if I want to watch any Youtube videos yet or just wait for the record.

Yeah, sure am lucky. Don't know why they have been giving us Dutchies this special treat. Must've done something good.
I heard about an album release date of October 23rd. Album title is supposed to be "Never Deserved The Future". All still rumours of course. It's definitely gonna be good that's for sure.

I can only hope that release date is somewhat accurate. Crossing my fingers.
