they should have released an EP and then actually finished what they started in the studio for the album instead of just loading up a disc of half baked gems. Reptiles and Gunman are the only tracks that i think i'll come back to in the future, i've got the Led Zep catalog if i ever feel like anything else on that disc.

I would go see these guys live anytime. In my opinion they do have their own distinctive sound-- and I like it! Glad to see John playing in something again. I am also happy that David Grohl had enough of the Foo Fighters. Their last single was so horrendous, I didn't even think about checking out the album.
In my book, Josh Homme is underrated. QOTSA actually came out with some good music. His bloody voice is contagious, and his guitar playing is quite original. Bump for these guys. |

I really like the TCV Album as well and it probably is a bit of a grower, the first time I heard it I thought it was alright, but with each listen and getting used to the tracks it gets better. Favourite tracks have to be Bandoliers, Gunman, Reptiles and Nobody Loves Me.... I'd definately recommend it to any fan of the musicians involved. |

Maybe if you hang around this forum for awhile, you'll become an expert in opinions and one-liners like everyone else.
