Best Rock Concert
Who do you guys think puts on the best rock show? I've only ever been to one rock show, KISS. They were great but I fell asleep lol. I was only five years old. I go to punk shows all the time but not many rock shows. :drummer:
EverClear :D only concert I been to tho :D
Everclear probably puts on good shows, I am not a fan though.
Well a guy thro his hat on stage and hit Art (lead singer) and Art refunded his money and told him to get out. But they get the crowed involed it was sweet...
The only rock show I've been to was a Lynard Syknard show. It was great. Very cool and relaxed.
I think concerts are okay.. the only one I want to see now is a rap one and that would be EMINEM. But whe I went to the everclear concert, I knew most of the songs, but if I didnt know the song I didnt know what they were saying. Maybe it was ****ty mics, but from now on I prefer to download and listen to my music that way.
I love concerts, I think they are really fun. Except at a punk show I stood up front, no sitting of course, and got kicked in the head by some of the crowd surfers. But it was worth it.

Ashlee Simpson New Years Eve Bash with Regis
It just shows how magical these teeny weeny's can be. To be able to lip synch so flawlessly....it's remarkable. And who can forget Regis? "Gilman!" Ah, poor D1ck clark. America has been celebrating the new year with him since Taft was in office. |
Mogwai and Sonic Youth, were my best live rock gigs EVER!! Guns n Roses, Greenday (its amazing at least the first time anyway, but they never change their act so it gets boring after that) Morrissey, Explosions in the Sky, Beastie Boys, Liars, Delgados, The Prodigy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Music, Cat Power, Pulp, The Libertines, Queens of the Stone Age, …And You will Know us by the Trail of Dead all put on awesome live shows too.
Oh, and Super Furry Animals are class live too

In my opinion: If you enjoy high energy, raw preformances that are as good or better than the record then KoRn was a must see during their KoRn, Life Is Peachy & Follow the Leader albums. KoRn built their fan base of the strength of their live shows so as you can imagine that was a wild show. So good in fact I saw them more than 8 times. Not sure about their live show after, and I am not sure how Head's leaving effected the group dynamic & live preformance. Back in the day they were awesome. If you like a frontman who's a good showman (along with his band members, theatrics, and a band that plays as good the record sounds Marylin Manson put on a sick sick sick show I loved Manson live both times. If you just want to rock out to a high energy show of amazing music then Soundgarden, Deftones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, White Zombie, and Skunk Anansie were amazing shows to see everytime. U2 are in a class of their own also great live show. It's hard to pick honestly, because I like quality bands so it's rare that I haven't loved a concert and I haven't been to a rock concert in a while so I am drawing from memory here Lol. |

Trying wayyy tooo hard to be cool. Its moshpit, not mashpit! As immortalised by Anthrax and "Caught In A Mosh". |
Well, I've only been to metal...but Maiden was pretty much the best.
Rammstein in Nimes 3 years ago, was my first concert ever xD
And in second place Pearl Jam at Rock Werchter.. And behind that one a lot of concerts on Rock Werchter ;) |
Slipknot but on one hell of a show. However I saw Mudvayne and they were pretty good however Snot opened for them and they were incredible.
Black Crowes put on a great rock show, so do Drive-By Truckers.
I'm goin to Jethro Tull concert on 22 th may in our city.
Our hopes and expectations~... Hope its gonna be worth seeing |
Jon Lajoie
While it may not have been rock it was one of the most enjoyable concerts of my life. You'd see groups of girls who just decided to buy tickets so they didn't have to wait for the club to open in the rain who had NO idea what his songs were about. Watching their mouths drop was more entertaining than him at points, especially during his "Excessively Vulgar Ways to Excuse Yourself To Go To The Bathroom" bit, I was nearly on the floor laughing. Strapping Young Lad Caught them at 2006 Ozzfest (pretty much only reason I went to Ozzfest) because they were almost exclusively doing stuff off "The New Black" which is my second favorite SYL album. Also it was my first time ever seeing Devin live and it was well worth the drive and the money. |
