Worst gig attended...
Enough of positive thinking :P
1988 or `89 choirboys - Liverpool Royal court. Dragged by a gf - longest 2 fxking hours of my life, lol! :P |
Guns n Roses
They played all their slow stuff in the middle of the gig for about an hour , during which it pissed down with rain. |
blink 182...it was traumatic.
|
Yeah?
Saw them twice and the rocked! Though they hadn't actually released use you illusion I and II at the time - so was kinda hard to sing along, lol! :P |

As bad as slipknot at UK ozzfest? :P |
Haha, these are great. I believe I was at a very similar Guns n Roses gig, was it August 2002 by any chance?
Anyway mine was Hell is for Heros... Dragged by a mate Stereophonics, if we're talking of ones we went to of own free will. Actually Feeder supported them. THAT is the worst. |

Heh - well what made me laugh was all the s*itknot fanboys moaning about how they sucked as well, lol!

I got dragged by a friend to a Weezer concert that was the most painful thing I ever went through.

I got tricked into going to one of my school's unplugged coffee houses. Really really bad poetry coupled with really really bad acoustic whiny crap. Not sure if its a show but still music was played and it sucked.
I've never been to a bad show. I make sure I like the bands before I choose to go. Maybe Inferis...only because they only got a 20 minute set and the band after them sucked. Inferis is amazing. check them out. |
I saw Korn at the first Summer Sanitarium. Holy crap was it bad. BAAAAD.
|
Yeah korn suck pretty hard - went to see Deep Purple in '93 - the one they taped - on the video :D - and the band on first were some weird celtic crap.
DP were awesome though! :D |
Eels in Wolverhampton a couple of years ago. E clearly couldn't be arsed and spent half the gig sitting down arguing with someone heckling from near the front.
|
Down the civic hall? Saw motorhead there - they were great but the crowd was rubbish....
Damn odd.. :P |
Yeah, think it was the Civic, either that or the Wulfrun, even though it's basically the same place.
Actually, Queens of the Stone Age was pretty awful in Wolves as well, the bass was way too loud, and the vocals were so quiet my girlfriend who couldn't see didn't know Mark Lanegan had come on for three songs. |
lol!
Is an ok venue - though the Royal Court in Liverpool is fantastic! :P |
Was that when Monster Magnet supported? the sound was crap then. I had to go and see loads of whiney women singer/songwriters with one of my exes. Got bullied into coldplay and Gomez at wolves, coldplay at ronnie scotts and the worst was travis at NIA. pure torture, thank god i don't have to do that anymore
|
I'm sure travis supported oasis when I saw them at the NIA and they seemed ok tbh...
Mind you that was a few years ago :P |
They were truly dire and so quiet. Good job the traffic was bad else i would've had to sit through doves to
|
Backstreet Boys. Enough said.
