Default Wanna Be metal heads?

it seems ive noticed so many wanna be metal heads, most of coming from guitar hero.
any1 else notice this?
it acually makes me mad, like ill talk to sum1 who says they listen to metal, and ill ask them "do u listen to lamb of god" and you get the usuall "oh my god, Laid to rest is a sick song!" being the only song they know.
before when guitar hero came out, id be psyced that a metal song was on it, now its kinda depressing. i wish that if people discovered metal from guitar hero, they would try to expand their metal song lists. but instead they dedicate themselves to knowing just the single. or hit song.

Let's see if we can elevate the level of writing in this thread to something better than a text message.

Why would someone want to have a head made out of metal? Well, at least it would be easy to win fights if you're head was nothing but metal.

If you had a head made out of metal it might be a bit heavy to carry around. You'll find yourself falling over constantly. I'd rather have balls of steel.

Sounds uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to hear them clanging together every time I walked anywhere either.

Yeah they don't sound very functional either. Not my cup of tea.

You'll get used to it, and you'll feel like a real man.

On a more serious note, and more to the point of the thread, i think this whole "i'm more metal than you" thing is just retarded. And it's always narrow-minded idiots who listen to nothing but metal. Everyone is free to dip their toes into metal to a small extent and not have to put up with metal purists. I listen to some metal bands but there's more great music out there than just metal you know?

I don't think someone has to know every single song buy every single artist to be considered a fan of the genre. I listen to a lot of different genres and I might know a crapload of songs by one band and only one or two from another band. That doesn't mean you don't really listen to it or aren't a fan.

...I think I answered the question, anyways. I could barely read the original post :/
