I think there are , It`s just people are always banging on about the good old days so much.

People are afraid to stick their necks out & so they carry on being safe listening to albums 30 or 40 years old that are considered 'classics'. I get so sick of people going on & on about how great something was in the 60s or 70s.Don`t get me wrong I like those albums too , but I want to put my own stamp on music.If I have kids I want to show them great music from MY youth , not my parents.
Personally i`d take Sigur Ros or GYBE over anything Pink Floyd ever did , I think OK Computer pisses over Sgt Pepper , Deloused In The Comatorium is better than anything Led Zeppelin ever did.

But I know what i`ll hear 'OOOOHHHH you can`t say that, they are classics'

I know they are & personally I couldn`t give a **** if they are or not.
