I'll give those vids a try once I am on a computer that supports flash.
If you're not familiar with the band, I wouldn't recommend live fan videos as a way to familiarize yourself and see if you like it. They generally sound like ass. And that goes for any band, IMO. Check out the album Angel Dust. I would also recommend The Real Thing but Patton's vocals are more nasally on that one and that's where 'Epic' is from. The track was great at the time but it's definitely not one I love anymore. The album itself I still love though...but the production is dated and thin, I'd love a remaster of it.

Yeah two pages!

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

wwwWWWWOOOOOooooowwwwww

such depth and insight

gotta agree with Sidewinder on his assessment of 'The Real Thing', it's unfortunate as it was one of the better albums of the early 90s and helped the mainstream break away from the poofy hair and spandex to open the doors for alt-rock.

kind of disappointed they don't do ****lobber live but i can understand why, they didn't seem to do it a lot back in the day either, live clips of that track are nearly impossible to find and any time i've lucked out the song is always split across two clips. thankfully Just a Man turns out to be just as epic when it's done live.

I was never a huge fan of Faith No More until I saw them at Soundwave in Sydney two months ago, man they were ****ing awesome. Angel Dust, Album of the Year and The Real Thing have become three of my favourite albums.

Exactly how I felt about Angel Dust. Is The Real Thing even more that way?

The Real Thing is incredibly dated but it was a HUGE album in my time and turned a lot of people onto other forms of music.

Still an absolute masterpiece:

Yeah I actually really enjoy King for a Day Fool for a Lifetime and Album of the Year far more often than the older ones. The production is so much better, and hell I'm older so the more mature vibe (sort of) fits me fine.
