Next to Judas Priest and Iron Maiden they are one of THE quintessential Heavy Metal bands. Spinal Tap based there idea on them. They have been going since 1979 and I fucking love them!

Everything they do screams of cliche but there is something utterly endearing about Saxon that still keeps me interested to this day.

I love this song

But the more I think about it I wonder if it's because in this Biff Byford sounds like a dead ringer of Bon Scott.

I quite honestly could not give a crap mate! music is what u like at the end of the day and If I am the village square at the end of it all then bollocks lol

i remember denim and leather but that's all i really know of them. maybe i should check them out a little, now that i've played all the mustasch records enough to nearly wear out the mp3s
