I wish I could see what everyone else sees in this band.. They just dont spark anything at all with me. Bland and overplayed comes to mind when I think of them..

Currently, they're one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite band right now. Their first two albums kicks ass, and One Nation Underground is pretty good, I need to hear their new album. I hope they tour again, soon.

Then, you obviously need to adjust you're hearing. lol The only thing Ill Nino has in common with Soulfly/Sepultura circa 1996 is that they both had tribal influences in their songs, and are both spanish. Actually, Soulfly are Brazilian which means they have more in common with the Porteguese (however the **** you spell it, don't care) so yeah they don't even have that in common.

Well, Marc Rizzo did wind up in Soulfly, and they did cover a Soulfly song... as well as on the first album they have a live cover of them as a bonus track.... so it is easy to see how one would come to such conclusions. I think it is safe to say Soulfly was a huge inspiration as well as Sepultura on "Chaos AD" and "Roots".
