How do you guys feel about it?
Trolling?

Eh, it's the worst song on Disturbed, but it's tolerable. I consider "Droppin' Plates" to be a filler pick, and while it may be cringe-inducing on a lot of levels, at least it's not boring. It's best enjoyed when listening to the album in its entirety, and in that sense it belongs for what was then a previously-unknown band before its release. Dropping it as a single is when it starts to feel out of place for what it is.

Best song they've ever done? Nope. Better than some of their mediocre songs on subsequent albums? Probably so. For a debut album, I'm fine with it being on there. Plus, I have strong nostalgia memories tied to their debut, so I have no intention of being unbiased about it .

You just lack taste, man. I like that part where they use that wobbly synth and he does that thing and he was like "I'm rock and hip hop" and I was like "Man I like both rock and hip hop too" The scratching on it was really dope too and I appreciate the "you couldn't punch your way out of a wet paper bag with scissor hands" line. Plus WWE makes the best music.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Uh, what? That's almost the exact same chord structure for Fire Inside.
Listen to their Sound of Silence cover. It's deep like the original, but it's also very POWERFUL and ANGRY.

I appreciate how hilarious his pseudo-rapping is.

Yes, I've heard it. Many times. Lotta people like it. I'm still on the fence. Draiman's penchant for the theatrically dramatic shines through, I'll give it that, but the cheese factor is still very prevalent.

I still don't know what "Droppin' Plates" is about. He's not even smashing them on your ass. Just dropping them. Like, from a second story window or a ladder or something.
