I haven't stopped listening to that type of music, mostly due to the fact I still like it, but then I need a break from it too because eventually I need to listen to something else, something better.

I don't regret seeing Disturbed live I think ten years ago it was. They had a pretty cool show.

I had a chance to see Disturbed next March on their new tour, but the show sold out in two days. I honestly didn't think they had that much demand still, but I guess a five year hiatus will do that.

P.S. I'd like to second the love for "Violence Fetish". I haven't listened to that album in forever, but I remember that being one of my favs. I seem to remember "The Game" being my top song, though.

Edit: Yeah, it's still pretty cool. I suppose I might have a little Disturbed kick at some point. I'm just drunk enough for my better judgement to be compromised.

"Liberate" was a great song. They flat out killed "The Sound of Silence" cover.

Yup. I was really hoping for something different, which they're claiming the new album will be "the most adventurous and eclectic combination of musical styles and moods that we’ve ever attempted".

Uh, what? That's almost the exact same chord structure for Fire Inside.

I think Droppin' Plates is probably the best Disturbed song to ever exist in the history of their career and nothing else has ever measured to it.

How do you guys feel about it?

Plankton 08-16-2018 10:54 AM

The Game is really the only tune I've ever sought out and inserted into a playlist, but they have some other decent tunes using their nu-metal formula for success. Droppin Plates feels like it was ready made for a WWE walk-out tune in mind. That's a no from me, dog.
