Anteater you don't have to list 10. I says "What is THE BEST album of this decade?". You can list 1 or you can list 100. It dose'nt matter.

Something about the production bugs me. Even the acoustic guitars sound like overly loud electric guitars while the buzz makes every riff headache inducing.

How can there be ONE best album of the decade when there are albums all equally important/good in their respective genres that have come out since 2000? I just picked ten because I like the number.

You must have an ear for production then, because I never picked up on that. I guess I'll give it another spin with that in mind.

Meshuggah - Catch 33

The end of Dehumanization (2:10 - 2:55) is quite simply the heaviest metal ever created

As far as rock albums go...

October 1999 , so technically it's in the past decade.

I'ld pit these against each other:

Mastodon - Leviathan
Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Pig Destroyer - Terrifyer
Nile - Annilation of the Wicked
Isis - Panopticon
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Ire Works
