Talking White Pony

I was wondering if there are any deftones fans in here. If you are what do you think of their cd- White Pony. Is it their best???

Well I saw the Deftones on the Summer Sanitarium tour two years ago, and they were god aweful. I don't think their records are that bad, and Passenger (while getting a huge boost from Maynard) is solid...real solid. I don't think there as great as they could be. Chino brings them down alot with his arrogance. He's equivelent to Scott Stapp because the deftones can rock, if you can get your lead man to stop insulting better bands than his.

I think White Pony is the most rounded of their albums, I've always been a big fan of their earlier stuff as well though.

I have never seen them live, but I like most of their music. I think their a pretty original band.

When I saw them live they weren't very good, but that was mainly down to an absolutely awful sound system at Wembley, which has ruined every band I've seen there.

Good point actually... never noticed it until you said. I've seen two bands there and the sound was awful but I never though much of it. I happened to be standing, and being 5'4" it was the major part of my worries. Lol.

Seen the deftones several times, on their own and at festivals. they always sound **** tho. Those arenas always have a **** sound and there are so expensive to get to hear a poor sound.
