What sub genre do you hate?

Carcass turned into a crappy death metal band but they were the kings of Grindcore for sure.

Ah, my bad. I don't like most grindcore either, but I've heard some good from it.

Well I used to own Divine Wings of Tragedy (before I deleted it) and it's quite prog metal.

Prog metal and power metal have similar origins. They're both somewhat of an attempt to take the sounds of the cheesiest bands of the 70s (Uriah Heep, Rainbow, Kansas, Styx) and make it significantly cheesier.

Now I love me some Heep and Styx, but that's my maximum cheese limit.

Wouldn't say I hate it, but I don't listen to trash or death metal. Techno and disco are also things I try to avoid if I can. Gangsta rap is also the bane of mankind.

The title may be misleading, but this thread is specifically about metal.
