Why?

I still listen to hardcore , I still listen to metal. I listen to new bands all the time.

The thought of a band combining hardcore & metal actually appeals to me, but like I said from the videos i've seen posted here none of these bands take the aspects I like from both genres and to me it sounds boring , generic & uninteresting.

are you kidding me? There is no way in hell that band is better than Parkway. I just listened to like 5 songs from them and Parkway has much more complex riffs and their drumming is, i can't even describe how much better it is.
