Wtf?? I can only name two successful Irish metal bands: Gama Bomb and Primordial and they both suck.

found an interesting Irish post progressive folk hardcore band a while back:

i believe they are called Middle-Aged Women Come Hither.

When my band went over to Dublin to play a metal showcase on St. Patty's Day, we found ourselves opening for an Irish metal band called Eyesclosed. They were ****in' tight. A really Killswitch-inspired type of groove. The vocalist was on top of his ****, too.
