Well they're not really nu-metal anymore, they're kinda in that grey area, but when their first album came out they were pretty much Korn sound-a-likes.

A few of the bands seem to have carried on quite well now that the Nu Metal era has finished, it seemed like a some of the band hit the genre with their second or third album which fro me was quite odd.
Jackhammer...Mordred....fantastic album!

I guess I never looked at it like that, I always grouped them on a higher level than that. Thats an interesting thought.

Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish... was there third album SOAD's Toxicity was the second album.

Yeah I had all the cd's and a couple shirts as well at the time. Don't listen to any of it much now, but there was a couple cool bands I liked to come out if it like Orange 9mm and this one:

i still like nu metal like Slipknot, Korn, etc. gets you moving.

i wasn't into the whole wearing clothes with chains and **** style of it, though.

I did begin with listening to Korn and SOAD when I was 15 or so, it was apart of my teenage angst. I got over them pretty quickly and moved on to better quality music.
