One of these days I'll finish it. Your list is similar to what I like and still listen to in nu metal

Oh add Korn to that list
Not as good as Year Of The Spider, but still has a few decent tracks on it.
Will have to probably give it a second listen before I can formulate more of an opinion on it.

Nothing from it really grabbed me initially.

P.O.D.'s style has evolved over the years, from the rap metal sound on their early albums to the nu metal and Reggae infused alternative metal styles for which they're most well known.

Payable on Death (stylized as P.O.D.) is an American Christian metal band formed in 1992. "Lights Out", "Boom", Youth Of A Nation", "Alive", and "Goodbye For Now"" are my favorite POD singles.

naw. every style no matter how it is viewed, has good and bad bands in it. Just have to dig deep to find them.

anyways, looking at yer last.fm page. Needs more Metal... Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Doom Metal, Progressive Metal... and on and on... work on that.

Progressive Metal is a sub-genre that has caught my interest lately, what bands would you suggest as being true progressive metal?

I listen to plenty of thrash when I feel like it, and not just the big 4 either. Do Artillery, Vio-Lence, or Dark Angel ring a bell? I've actually been looking to get into into more doom metal, but more from the stoner/sludge variety. Acidbath is pretty badass. =)

hmmm. I will admit Prog-Metal is one I am not all that knowledged on. I tend to like it more when mixed with other types of metal.

Control Denied - The Fragile Art of Existence
Edge of Sanity - Crimson
Voivod - Dimension Hatröss

3 that come to mind.... I wish I knew more about the style to suggest more. But as of now, my knowledge of it is very slim.
