Thats exactly what I find interesting about Bush and Silverchair musically, is that they are so different. Silverchair uses the lyric & melody style capability that resembles Cobain's.

And the music style of Bush is more focused on the 3-piece (Punk) rock/style attitude to the music. I saw Bush's debut on The David Letterman Show and I thought they were awesome at the time.

I might mention an Alternative Rock Band I liked also, around the same era as all the others is the band "Live". They had a few singles I liked a lot.

It seems like The Smashing Pumpkins should get mention here somewhere for some odd reason. Oh well, just forget it..
