of course mudhoney is grunge... Pearl Jam and STP though were not! They had a few similarities...
Seen Mudhoney something like 8 times in my life actually... used to run into Mark Arm all the time at record shops too... |

green river and Melvins are the orginators of Grunge - you are right
I've seen ALL these bands... and mostly was wasted on me. I wanted to be in Madchester at the time - lol! Seeing Melvins again in fact this Dec... should be good. The last time I crowd surfed (over 10 years ago) was at a melvins gig.... nearly broke my tailbone!! haha |

Pearl Jam and STP are bands that labels pushed as grunge but really are just alternative rock bands.
