'look on myspace', so thats how you gauge a genre's scope? i dont know enough on riot grrl to challenge this bearing in mind every 'riot grrl' band ive heard has done enough to put me off the genre forever.

smokin'. Babes in toyland was the only band i could tolerate and that was only one song. Bands like bikini kill, bratmobile and voodoo queens are just terrible.
