have you met with each of them personally?

Chris Cornell And Eddie seem happy with their success...

i don't think too many starving-artists are gonna turn down millions in order to have more local cred..

I don't know them, but by independent interviews about the scene alot of the people around that time were un-happy with the explosion and considered alot of bands going back on their roots, and even as deep as calling them sell outs only the hardcore fans called bands like Soundgarden, and PJ sometimes Nirvana as well as backstabbers on the sound.

Who likes Michael Jackson anyway. It's no wonder why he fell from grace. Nirvana should feel very proud of that, there's alot of things they should feel proud of as well.

I'm not sure, I'll look and see. Chris was better of in Soundgarden than Audioslave or even alone.

well, having been 16 in 1993, I know that it was really exciting to see this explosion of music in like 1991-92. By '93 EVERYONE and their grandma was wearing flannel...and if you had been into underground music in say, 1989,1990 like my husband, by 1994 you were pretty damn sick of all the "posers" and the bands themselves (some of them) didn't like it. It's just the same evolution of any "scene" or genre really.

Word.

But instead, it's used by many detractors as "proof" of why Nirvana sucks.

by the late 80s jackson wasnt THAT popular anymore-everyone was listening to Warrant, Poison, all the cheesy hair bands, hence the term "grunge"

Actually my arguement was "All bands signed by major labels to cash in on Nirvana sux lolzzzzzzzzzzzz"

And I must be right because virtually all of them were dropped after one album & were never heard from again.
